Your privacy is important to us. It is ZenKid’s policy to respect your privacy and comply with all applicable laws regarding any personal information we may collect about you through our app, ZenKid – Kids Daily Challenges, and its associated services.

ZenKid – Kids Daily Challenges is owned and operated by NEATKID KIDS CHORE TRACKER AND REWARD CHART LLC.

What Personal Information We Collect

We collect two types of information:

1. Voluntarily Provided Information

Information you knowingly provide when using ZenKid, such as:

• Creating a parent account — your name and email address, or signing in with Google or Apple
• Setting up your child's public profile (name, age, avatar)
• Purchasing a subscription — purchase and subscription history (processed by the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat; we never receive your card details)
• Contacting our support team

2. Automatically Collected Information

Information sent automatically by your device, such as:

• Device type and version
• IP address
• In-app activity
• Error logs

This information may not directly identify you but may potentially be combined with other data to identify individuals.

Public Profile and Leaderboard

ZenKid requires a public profile for participation in the app, because core features rely on level progression and the global leaderboard.

Public Profile (mandatory):

• Child’s display name (can be fictional)
• Child’s age
• Avatar (photo or illustrated image, based on parent choice)

This information is visible to all ZenKid users.

Leaderboard visibility includes:

• Name
• Age
• Avatar
• Current level

There are no chats, messaging, or user-to-user communication features.

Photos and Videos

If a parent chooses a photo as their child's avatar, that photo is uploaded and stored (via Firebase) as part of the child's public profile. This is the only media ZenKid collects, and using a photo is optional — illustrated avatars are also available.

ZenKid does not otherwise collect or store:

• Videos
• Photos beyond the optional profile avatar
• Any other uploaded media

There is no public photo or video sharing. Any future optional media features will only be available within a private family group.

Third-Party Services

ZenKid relies on the following trusted third-party services, which may process some of your data on our behalf:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, cloud database and storage (public profile data, account information, avatars), push notifications, usage analytics, and crash/diagnostic reporting.
• Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In — used to create and log in to a parent account.
• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions and purchase history.
• AppsFlyer — processes invite links and helps us measure the performance of our own advertising campaigns (for example, which ad led to an app install). This may include your device's advertising identifier, where permitted by your device settings. This data is used only to measure our own marketing, not to serve or target ads to children, and not for third-party advertising.

These providers process data only to deliver the app's features and to measure our own advertising campaigns. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to serve targeted third-party ads.

Device Permissions

ZenKid may request permission to access:

• Notifications
• Mobile data
• Identity permissions required for account functionality

Permissions depend on your device settings and choices.

User-Generated Content

ZenKid does not currently publish any user-generated content publicly.

In future updates, optional photo/video sharing will be available only for a private family group.

Why We Collect Information

We collect and use personal information to:

• Provide core app features
• Support child development personalization
• Display your child’s profile in the leaderboard
• Improve app performance and functionality
• Communicate with parents when necessary

We only process information when we have a legitimate reason.

Security of Your Information

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure.

No method of digital storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Parents are responsible for safeguarding account credentials.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services.

When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized, unless legal obligations require longer retention.

Children’s Privacy

ZenKid can be used by children, but:

• Parents create and manage all accounts
• Children join through a parent-generated invite code
• We do not knowingly collect any child data directly without parental involvement

A parent or guardian sets up each account and consents to the limited data described in this policy on their child's behalf. This approach is designed to align with the Apple App Store requirements for children, the Google Play Families Policy, COPPA (US), and GDPR-K (EU).

Parents can review, correct, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting support@zenkid.io. We do not knowingly allow third parties to use children's data for behavioral advertising.

Sharing Personal Information

We may share personal information with:

• Subsidiaries or affiliates
• Service providers that operate the app on our behalf, such as Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, and AppsFlyer
• Contractors assisting with app operations
• Legal authorities when required by law
• Business partners in case of merger, acquisition, or asset transfer

We do not share personal information for third-party advertising or resale. We may share a limited device identifier with our marketing/attribution partner (AppsFlyer) solely to measure the performance of our own advertising campaigns.

Your Rights

You may:

• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Disable or delete your account
• Opt out of marketing emails
• Request complete deletion of stored data

We do not discriminate against users for exercising their rights.

Cookies

ZenKid may use cookies for essential functionality, analytics, and personalization. All cookie data is securely transferred.

External Links

The app may contain links to external websites not operated by ZenKid. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If significant changes occur, we will notify users through the app or via email.
